Former political prisoner Valery Levaneuski has visited National Library of Belarus. It is remarkable, that creation of National Library of Belarus in a Minsk and creation of library in a corrective colony №22 “the Wolf Holes” in Ivacevichy’s area were conducted in parallel and in a competitive mode. In Minsk the head of the state initiated creation of library in 2002, in “the Wolf holes” political prisoner - Valery Levaneuski in 2004. The given competitions were won by library in corrective colony №22. The library in a colony has opened for some months earlier, than library in a Minsk. Read more »

In the beginning of this week families of political prisoners have been invited to a friendly reception in a residence of the assistant to the ambassador of the USA in Belarus to Jonathan M.Mur together with wife have rendered visitors hearty welcome. In friendly and easy conditions various aspects of attitudes of the USA and Belarus, development of cooperation between people and nongovernmental structures of both countries have been discussed. On April, 24th 8 years from the date of the known leader of entrepreneurs Arnold Pecherski’s death is celebrated. The representative Republican Strike Committee of entrepreneurs, the head of Strike Committee across Minsk and Minsk area Arnold Pecherski’ was lost under strange and mysterious circumstances in 1999. He was only 36 years old. He accepted active participation in a political life of the country and enterprise movement. Read more »

Today 4/19/2007 to the leader of entrepreneurs of Belarus Valery Levaneuski were returned with the things withdrawn earlier. We shall remind, that in 6.30 3/12/2007 on a post of State roadworthiness inspection at departure of Grodno the car in which followed the former political prisoner on the meeting of entrepreneurs authorized by authorities in Minsk. Till now there is no answer to Valery Levaneuski’s first application in Office of Public Prosecutor of the Grodno area in occasion of his illegal detention of 3/12/2007 on road in a Minsk and to withdrawal of his things without appropriate registration. Things are not returned, documents on detention of the leader of entrepreneurs and withdrawals at him things are not given out. The leader of entrepreneurs Valery Levaneuski has received the answer from the Ministry of Economics signed by deputy minister A.N.Tur from whom the estimation of the decree №760 at businessmen and the Government opposite follows, that, that we are fine in social sphere and even better, than several years ago, and municipal services in general have fallen in price. Very interesting figures from which follows a result, that our Government lives in any virtual world and continues to build virtual Belarus where Belorussians to live every day all better and better.
