The decision 166 from March, 13th, 2007 the Grodno city executive committee has given up in the sanction to carrying out of meeting in a of Grodno of 3/19/2007. In the refusal the Executive Committee of the City specifies the sanction of meeting, that authorities of city together with organizers are not capable to provide safety of citizens at quantity of participants on meeting in 800 people. It it is no wonder since law enforcement bodies, probably, are occupied by another matters: political investigation, detention of the citizens going on meeting to Minsk, etc. by affairs. Approximately at 12.50, at an exit from the house by employees of riot police had been detained Valery Levaneuski with family and Alexander Vasilev. The minibus with militia has partitioned off the roadway and has not allowed A.Vasilev’s car to get under way with a place. Employees of militia have examined the car, have checked up at all documents. On a question: “What is wrong?” has received: “The given car is in stealing, and, since October, 2006″. Read more »

Entrepreneurs do not agree with deterioration of conditions of their activity, will support a cancelling of last decrees and decrees of the president of Belarus which liquidations of small business in Belarus and will lead to the further impoverishment of citizens. At joint session of heads and representatives of enterprise structures of Belarus the decision on preparation for various protest actions of individual entrepreneurs is accepted. 15.01.2007 Valery Levaneuski has met with Jean-Erik Goltsapfel, the first adviser for relations Belarus, Representations of the European Commission, and the head of Tacis-office Janis Ajzsalnieks. On December, 7th, 2006 recently released political prisoners Sergey Skrebets and Nikolay Astrejka have entered into the civil initiative.
