3/25/2007 there will take place one-day precautionary strike of entrepreneurs of Belarus

It is the second action of entrepreneurs which will be lead in 2007. Entrepreneurs do not agree with deterioration of conditions of their activity, will support a cancelling of last decrees and decrees of the president of Belarus which liquidations of small business in Belarus and will lead to the further impoverishment of citizens.

Entrepreneurs of Minsk, the Minsk area, and also from regions together with democratic forces of Belarus plan to take part in the action on March, 25th, 2007 at 12.00 on the October area in Minsk with the requirements.

Entrepreneurs assume, that the president of Belarus A.Lukashenka who will listen to their requirements and will answer questions of entrepreneurs.

Entrepreneurs will put forward not only the requirements connected with their enterprise activity, but also connected with infringement of the rights of citizens, among it:

- On a freedom of speech,
- On freedom of mass-media,
- On association in trade unions and public organizations.

Entrepreneurs will express the disagreement with unreasonable growth of municipal payments and an impoverishment of the population.

One of the basic political requirements of entrepreneurs is a clearing political prisoners and the termination in Belarus of prosecutions of citizens on political grounds.

Except for carrying out of strike entrepreneurs plan to lead to this day protest actions in various regions of Belarus.

Economic requirements striking will be coordinated after meeting entrepreneurs which is planned on 3/12/2007 in a Minsk. Planned time is - 12.00., a place of carrying out is - J.Kolasa’s area or area Bangalor. The decision of Minsk regional executive committee on this question will be known 3/5/2007. On the given meeting it is planned to put forward only economic requirements.
