The note: Birthdays of emperors of Japan are celebrate as the state holiday since 1873. During long time Japan was the imperialistic country, and the emperor at that time was considered «as the live god on the earth». The present emperor Akihito who has come to the throne in 1989, was born on December, 23rd, 1933. Since 1990 this day became a national holiday, Birthday of the Emperor. Since early morning at ceremony “sukuga no gi” the emperor receives congratulations on the best regards from members of an imperial family, the prime minister, the chairman of Parliament, advisers, the Minister of Justice. In second half of day celebratory tea ceremony on which there are ambassadors from 100 countries is spent. To birthday of the emperor of thousand Japanese come on territory of an imperial palace and welcome the emperor who appears from time to time on a balcony in an environment of members of a family.
