Solemn reception in Embassy of Latvia, devoted to a national holiday 27.06.2006 in embassy of Latvia the reception devoted to a national holiday of Latvia has taken place. Reception has been spent in the spirit of observance of national traditions, colourfully and interestingly organised.
Throughout all evening songs in the Latvian and Belarus languages sounded, drove a round dance and national games have been organised. Diplomats, politicians, public figures, members of politically subjected to repression Belarus families communicated, exchanged opinions in celebratory and benevolent conditions.

This day the leader of United Civil party Anatoly Lebedko celebrated the Birthday on what he was congratulated by all present, and the ambassador of Latvia in Belarus Maira Mora has handed over him as a gift a wreath weaved from leaves of an oak.
