By the selective commissions of Grodno counteraction to promotion objectionable to the authorities of candidates proceeds. On the appeal of the Decision of the selective commission about refusal in registration by the candidate of applicants in candidates of local Councils of deputies, thanks to counteraction of the regional commission, there were only a few hours.
From many applicants in candidates of the Grodno region (city, regional and other Councils of deputies) date of session of the Grodno regional selective commission on elections in deputies of local Councils of deputies 24 convocations has been hidden. On the given commission complaints of applicants in candidates of local authorities were considered. Many applicants in deputies of local Councils of deputies asked 24 convocations, including, and in writing, to allow to participate it by consideration of their question at issue by the commission. Anybody, by data of Strike Committee of entrepreneurs of Belarus, has not been invited.

Practically, to all to whom the Grodno regional selective commission on elections in deputies of local Councils of deputies 24 convocations has given up in satisfaction of complaints to actions of the local commissions, Decisions has given out only 4.02.2003. The commission sat 1.02.2003. According to item 68 of the Selective Code of Byelorussia, the Decision should be given out 2.01.2003. But as of 3.02.2003 such Decisions were not ready.

Decisions of the Grodno regional selective commission on elections in deputies of local Councils of deputies 24 convocations stood out only 4.02.2003 i.e. when expires three-day term on the appeal of the given Decisions, provided by item 68 of the Selective Code of Belarus. It is direct infringement of item 68 of the Selective Code of Belarus where it is said, that Decisions of the selective commission should stand out not later than next day after decision-making, i.e. the Decision of the selective commission should be given out not later 2.02.2003. In other words, on the appeal of the Decision of the selective commission of applicants in candidates of local Councils of deputies, thanks to counteraction of the regional commission, there were only a few hours. 4.02.2003 Decisions of the Grodno regional selective commission on elections in deputies of local Councils of deputies 24 convocations have been given out, and 4.02.2003 the three-day term provided by item 68 of the Selective Code on the appeal of the given Decision comes to an end.

Despite these “slingshots”, some applicants in Candidates had time to make Complaints to Decisions of the Grodno regional selective commission on elections in deputies of local Councils of deputies 24 convocations. There are Valery Levaneuski, Dmitry Levaneuski and Alexander Vasilieu. Sessions of the Grodno regional court on the given cases will take place 7.02.2003 at 11.00 in a building of the Grodno regional Court.
